Our Life....

Wednesday, I had a writing workshop to go to so Hayden had to go back to daycare. He was not a happy camper, but did really well when I dropped him off. Oh my goodness, it was sooooo hard to get up early that morning!! I was exhausted, and the workshop wasn't the most exciting!!

Wednesday evening, Hunter had a football game! Oh, how I wish they could play more than 2 games!! They practice 10 times in 2 weeks for 2 hours a night and then get to play 2 games!! It is so much fun watching these little guys run around and tackle each other!!! I LOVE IT!!! And Hunter was having a blast!! He is the quarterback again this year, and although he wanted to tackle people instead, he is loving it! His buddy, Jaiden Henry, is on the team and is a receiver.

We played against the gray team and won 32-14!! Hunter ran about 50 yards each time for 2 touchdowns, but one of them was called back for someone else holding. We had 4 holding calls (on 1st and 2nd graders) and, bless their hearts, each time they called it was when some kid ran 1/2 the field for a touchdown. You can only imagine what was running through their minds? Hunter handed off to Jaiden one time and Jaiden ran for a touchdown and dove into the end zone! It was so funny!! The guys played great and the game was so fun to watch!! We found out last night that we play the white team on Saturday in the championship game! I'll let you know how that goes!!
Hunter is #5
Jaiden and Hunter after Jaiden's "unsportsmanlike" touchdown! HA!

**Thursday was a crazy day!! I had writing workshop again, picked up Zoey from the groomers, picked up Hayden from daycare, picked up Hunter from Har-Ber, rushed Hunter to the eye doctor, took the boys home, grabbed Zoey to get her to puppy graduation, and then get back home in time to go to the Grape Festival.

I was told yesterday that my 7-year old needs glasses!! Oh Heavens!! I prayed that his eyes would not be bad like mine, but his odds were not very good!! Mine are so much worse than Chris's though, so I can still pray they will be more like his. But neither one of us needed glasses in the 2nd grade!!! He is so excited about getting them, though! I told him they are not going to be as fun as he thinks. Right now, he will only need them at school to read the board. Maybe they won't get worse!

Zoey graduated from her puppy obedience training at PetSmart! Tonight was all about competitions. Which puppy could do each skill the longest or the fastest? Zoey won the best trick, the longest "sit-stay," and the longest "leave it." I was so proud of her. She got 2nd place out of 3 dogs on puppy push-ups.
Here she is with her certificate!

Her trick that I taught her was to jump through this hoop. I think she looks so cute jumping through.

Then Chris and I took the boys to the Grape Festival and met up with The Moreland's. I forgot my camera, but Traci took some pictures so I may post some later. The boys had so much fun, and I tried grape ice cream for the first time!! It was really good! We may go back tonight or tomorrow night for their famous chicken and spaghetti dinners! YUMMY!!
