My baby boy just turned 4!!! Why do the years go by so fast???!!! He wanted to have his party at Jump Zone, and he picked out a Batman cake!

Hunter asked us (on his own freewill) to take him shopping for Hayden's birthday gifts. Of course, he didn't want to spend his own money, but you gotta start somewhere, right? He knew Hayden was getting the BatCave, so he picked out Mr. Freeze to go with it. We also found Tony Romo & Jason Witten figures in their college jerseys that Hayden loved. When Hayden opened his presents, he was so excited and ran to hug his big brother!! They are so sweet!! (most of the time)
I really can't believe how big he is getting!! He does still love to snuggle with his momma, though!! :) I hope he doesn't ever outgrow that!!
- He is constantly trying to keep up with his brother. He loves to play every kind of ball, ride his bicycle, play video games, and play with Batman, Wrestlers, Ninja Turtles, etc...
- He is very picky about what he wears. It's actually a battle getting him dressed when I have to be somewhere in a hurry. He does not match very well, but is very strong willed. Sometimes, I let it go because it's a sign of creativity, right? He actually went through a phase where he had to wear 2 shirts. Apparently, he started this trend at daycare, because some other moms told me their kids have to wear 2 shirts all the time now, too. Sorry!!
- We have been practicing writing his name all summer, and he's getting pretty good at it. (This is probably behind schedule, and I have been a slacker with my "baby." Didn't even realize this until a bunch of kids in his class at church were all writing their names. Oops!!
- Hunter was my picky child, but Hayden will pretty much try anything!!! Especially if dipping something into something is involved! He loves ranch dressing, and will call it "salad." He loves hamburgers also, with ketchup or mustard on it. (He def. got this from Chris.)
- Favorite movies: Alvin & the Chipmunks: The Squeakel (he can almost quote the whole movie), Batman, Space Jam, Scooby Doo
- Favorite TV shows: Phineas & Ferb, The Suite Life of Zach & Cody, Spongebob
I'm sure there is so much more that I am forgetting, but I wanted to document some things that came to mind. Here's to another exciting year and watching you grow into a little man that is constantly making us smile!! We love you Hayden "Bitty Butt" Wood!!!
