Dallas Trip

(I just realized I never finished this post. Oops!! )

For a mini vacation this year, we decided to go to Dallas for the weekend. There is always so much to do there, and never enough time to do it. Since we are not taking a major vacation this year, we decided to stay at the Great Wolf Lodge while we were there so the boys could play at their indoor water park. We got there late Friday night. We ate dinner at the hotel, and watched the NFL Draft on TV. We got there in time to see Damian Williams (one of Chris's receivers at Springdale High School, who played for USC) drafted by the Titans! So exciting!!!

Saturday, we got up early and played at the water park for a few hours. Then we went to eat at Rainforest Cafe and shopped for a little bit at Grapevine Mills. We were on a mission to find Texas Ranger t-shirts.

Then we went to watch the Rangers play. Chris is a huge fan of the Cowboys and the Rangers. It would be so nice if Dallas was closer than 5 hours from us. There is soooooo much to do there!!

We always get the family deal tickets, which includes seats, drink & hot dog, and tickets to the kids' play area. The boys love to play all the games!! Here is Hunter throwing baseballs.

Hayden was so fast on this game, so I couldn't get a picture. There are two guys on each side of you holding a bungee type thing. You place a ball in the bungee and pull back, and release the ball towards the catcher. Hayden pulled back and made it the very first try!! :) It was great to get away as a family!!
