One day I will actually get a room posted on time. I actually had this room clean, I just didn't have time to post it. My living room needs a lot of work still. Please offer as much advice as you'd like. If you want to see MANY more living rooms, click

This is my foyer. I'm about to change out the mirror. It's the hardest thing to clean, and I found something much cuter at Wal-Mart! This hutch is a dust magnet too! UGH!

This is from the front door looking into the living room. The dining room, which we turned into a den (AKA...Chris's Dallas Cowboy room~picture below). To the right is the Master bedroom.

This room is a mess!! It was built to be a dining room, but we don't have a dining room table and if we did, we would never eat at it except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My husband LOVES the Dallas Cowboys, so we made this his Cowboy room. It DID look really nice until the massive train table took over! Hayden loves trains, so for Christmas he got a Thomas the Train train set(Thanks, Mimi). These toy builders have gotten so smart! They don't make just one thing to buy and that's it! There's always hundreds of different sets with other trains that you could keep buying forever! So, for Easter we bought another set to go with his collection, and my dad made him this train table to put it on (Thanks, Papa). The problem is.....It is HUGE!!! What I don't get is there are so many more sets that you can keep adding on, but I have no idea how anyone has a table big enough to put it on!! This takes up the whole room!! One day, we will move it back upstairs, but for now it's the Cowboy/Train room!

Beams on the ceiling......

View from the stairs...I just rearranged the furniture. I get really bored with one set-up after a while, so I have to change things up. I think I like this better than the old way. I do need something to put over the couch. Ideas????

Fireplace and mantle. I'm not sure if I love the rustic mantle yet. Did you notice the basketball goal in the living room? The boys play basktball and wrestling in the living room every night. One reason why I don't have any breakable decorations in my living room!

I love the mantle, that's kind of the look I'm going for in my house. I may show this to my builder so they will have an idea. Thanks for posting this!! Your house looks great! Have you ever looked into getting those decal things for the walls? They rub on and you just peel them off when you're done with them. Supposedly they don't harm the paint. I have several of them in my house but haven't taken them down yet so I don't know about the paint thing. I got mine from uppercase living, but you can get them from Hobby Lobby and etsy.com has some really cool ones too. I play to do some in the kids rooms when we are done building. That's the longest comment I've ever typed. Ever.
