Memory Moment

Anytime my kids say something cute, I swear that I will never forget it, but as the years go by I seem to forget some very funny memories. So I thought I'd start writing them down. Even though they may not always be exciting to you guys, I want to be able to remember them years from now.

Apparently, Hayden has some issue with my hair being in a ponytail. It took me a while to figure out what he was saying, but after several nights of him throwing a fit I finally figured it out. He calls my hair up in a ponytail "April's hair." He will say, "No want April's hair! I want Mommy's hair!" which means take your hair out of the ponytail. This is not always convenient since most of the time my hair is pulled back. I'm not sure what is running through his little head or where he got April's hair/Mommy's hair, but I think it's funny!

He is also going through a phase right now where he would rather make silly faces for pictures instead of smiling, which scares me because we are getting family pictures made soon. Please pray that he will cooperate!! I can't get angry though, because it's just his personality! For example, in this picture I'm thinking I'm getting a cute picture with my boys. Hayden is more worried about sticking his tongue out and giving wrestling hand signals!! I can't look at this picture without laughing out loud, though! Thanks for reading!!
