Last weekend, Chris had to speak at a coaching clinic that he THOUGHT was in Branson, so me and the boys decided to go with him and booked a room at our condo. Well, he ended up speaking at Joplin, but that's ok...we needed to get away anyway! We have been timeshare owners for almost 2 years, and this is the first time we have actually stayed at our condo. We just don't plan ahead very well. Here are some pictures of our lodge:

The view from our patio.

Hayden and Hunter pretending to be "Zack and Cody" from Disney channels Suite Life of Zack and Cody. (Hayden's idea)

The only thing I wanted to do was shop! This was the most fun part of shopping for the boys. They wore me out after just one store.

For dinner, we drove up to Ozark, MO to eat at one of my favorite restaurants......Lambert's "Home of the Throwed Rolls" We always try to go here when we go to Branson. We LOVE their fried potatoes w/ onions and fried okra!! YUM-O!!

Saturday morning, we woke up to this.....AND Chris had to drive to Joplin in this. I prayed so hard that he would make it there and back safely!!! It sure was beautiful, though, huh?

So, they boys and I just walked around the resort to check out the scenery.

Hunter wanted to go see the Titanic museum in Branson. He is really getting into history and asking lots of questions about different historical events. He was so interested. Then we came home and watched the movie. LOVE IT! Let's just hope he doesn't remember the movie when we go on our cruise in June. His favorite history topic lately is the "Silver War" HA!

We had a great trip and Chris and I are going back in May for our 10-year anniversary! There should be a lot more to do then. February is just not the time to go to Branson, but we had good family quality time anyway.

Looks like you guys had a good time. I always love to get away to Branson, it's so laid back, most of the time.
