New Car and Movies

 Yesterday, I bought a new car!!!  Was not even planning on it!  One minute we are sitting at the house, and the next we are test driving new vehicles. One of Chris's football coaches works at a local car dealer for some extra money.  Apparently, he has been working the coaches at the field house!  He told Chris that he could get me a cheaper deal on a brand new car exactly like my old one.  But I decided that if I was going to get a new car, I also wanted a new color.  I also decided that a lot of the features on my old car I could live without.  So, I opted against bucket seats on the 2nd row and leather seats to save a lot more money!  I'm pretty happy with my purchase....a 2011 Cyber Grey Acadia!! 

Thursday night, I stayed up until 3:00 AM reading I Am Number Four.  It was one of those books that you can't stop reading.  So, today we went to see the movie.  I teach English and tell my students they can't watch the movie until they have read the book, so I have to practice what I preach.  Once again, the book was way, way better!!!  The movie was pretty good, though.  I'm ready for the next book to come out, but I have to wait until August.  :( 

We asked Mimi to come stay with the boys so we could go watch a "non-kid" movie, and she decided to take the boys to a movie herself.  They went to see Rango and said it was pretty good.  I think they were just happy to not have to shop and run errands with mom and dad like they've been doing all week.  HA!!  They had a great time spending the day with Mimi!! 

I can't believe spring break is pretty much over.  It went by so quickly!!!
