Baseball is Upon Us

Last weekend, the Springdale Wildcat baseball team played their first baseball tournament of the year.  This was also their first real game for kid pitch.  We lost our first game Friday night, but won all 4 of our games on Sunday.   

Sunday morning, we started at 8 am, and it was soooooo cold!!!  20-something degrees!  BRRRR!  (I don't think any football games were that cold this year.)  Thank goodness for the parent that brought a heater for the dugout!

For their first tournament, I thought the boys played really well!!  Don't get me wrong....we have A LOT to work on, but so much potential!!!  This weekend, Hunter played 3rd base and did so good!!  We were very proud of all the boys!  They all played so hard!!

Tomorrow, we have baseball tryouts for our league team.  Chris is coaching Hunter again this year, and we will be the Rangers.  I really hope we can get some of Hunter's buddies on our team because we will have the same team for 2 years in a row.  I have a feeling it's about to get crazy around here again.
